1. Who we are

Promptly ("we", "us", "our") is a mobile learning application operated by Roman Khaneichuk, Individual Entrepreneur (ФОП Ханейчук Роман Іванович), registered in Ukraine.

2. What information we collect

2.1 Data we DO NOT collect

• ❌ Your name (unless you type it voluntarily)
• ❌ Email address (no sign-up required)
• ❌ Phone number
• ❌ Precise location
• ❌ Contacts, photos, microphone, camera
• ❌ Browsing history outside the app
• ❌ Advertising identifiers (IDFA)

2.2 Data we DO collect (stored only on your device)

• Learning progress — which lessons you completed, XP earned, streak days, level
• App preferences — selected language, notifications settings, appearance
• Purchase history — subscription status (managed by Apple, not by us)

This data is stored in UserDefaults on your iPhone and never transmitted to our servers because we don't have servers that store personal data.

2.3 Data processed by Apple on our behalf

When you purchase a subscription, Apple processes the transaction. We receive:

• Anonymous transaction ID
• Subscription status (active / expired / refunded)

2.4 Third-party video hosting

Video content is hosted by [Cloudflare Stream / Mux.com / Vimeo — replace with your actual provider]. When you watch a video, your IP address may be logged by that provider. Their privacy policies:

3. How we use information

• Show your progress and stats
• Sync your subscription status with Apple
• Improve the app based on aggregated, anonymous usage patterns

4. Data retention

Your progress data stays on your device until you delete the app. We have no copy.

5. Children's privacy

Promptly is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

6. Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Since we don't have a server with your data, there's nothing for us to delete from our side. To delete all your data:

1. Delete the Promptly app from your iPhone → all local data is erased.
2. Cancel your subscription in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions (Apple controls this).

7. Data security

All data is stored locally on your device with iOS's built-in encryption (iOS Keychain / Data Protection API).

8. International users

The app is available worldwide. By using it, you consent to your data being processed as described.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be shown in-app on next launch.
